Trapeze Networks Expands Presence in Southern Europe.


PLEASANTON, Calif. -- Trapeze Networks(TM), the award winning provider of the wireless LAN (WLAN See wireless LAN.

) Mobility System(TM), announced today that due to the rise in opportunities in the southern region of Europe, it has added a country sales manager in Spain and will be adding a pre-sales engineer in Italy soon.

Mr. Alfredo Diaz has joined Trapeze Networks as the Country Sales Manager for Spain and Mr. Olivier Carbonneaux, who joined Trapeze Networks earlier this year, has been promoted to Senior Sales Engineer and will be heading up the sales and pre-sales efforts for Trapeze Networks in France.

Later this month Trapeze will expand its Southern EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Refers to that region of the world. For example, one might see products packaged differently for the UK, EMEA and Asia Pacific markets.  regional presence with the assignment of a pre-sales engineer for Italy.

"After establishing our presence in the Northern part of EMEA last quarter, we are now extending into the South of Europe," stated Kees van Veenendaal, managing director and vice president of sales for Trapeze EMEA.
