In the Educational Setting

Educators in English as a Second Language (ESL (1) An earlier family of client/server development tools for Windows and OS/2 from Ardent Software (formerly VMARK). It was originally developed by Easel Corporation, which was acquired by VMARK. ) programs generally teach, at one time, people who speak a variety of foreign languages. The English for Spanish Speakers software is ideal as an ESL curriculum supplement. In the ESL computer lab, Spanish speakers can acquire additional language, reinforce what they have learned, and practice their language skills independently.

In bilingual classrooms, Spanish speakers learn subjects such as math, science and English, in their native language. English for Spanish Speakers is an invaluable tool for learning the English language as subject matter.

Pricing and availability

English for Spanish Speakers is available immediately from Transparent Language. The program is list priced at $129.00 for the Standard version, which includes three stories or articles, and $169.00 for the Plus version designed for educators, which includes four stories or articles and a comprehensive grammar reference.
