) today announced the election of Thomas V. Cholnoky as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations. Mr. Cholnoky will report to Steven S. Skalicky, Executive Vice President and CFO See Chief Financial Officer. .

Mr. Skalicky noted, "We are pleased to have Tom join Transatlantic in this critical role. He brings a wealth of industry and investment expertise to the Company. Tom's breadth of experience will also benefit us in strategic planning and capital management activities."

Mr. Cholnoky most recently served as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he spent more than two decades as an analyst in Global Investment Research following the insurance industry.

Mr. Cholnoky holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Recruiters also voice a strongly positive opinion of students.
