Transamerica Retirement Services Ranks as the Top Provider in Boston Research Group's Retirement Advisor Satisfaction and Loyalty Survey.

Transamerica Exceeds the Benchmark in 46 of the 48 Individual Drivers of Satisfaction, as Well as "Overall Satisfaction"

LOS ANGELES Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  -- Transamerica Retirement Services ranked as the top plan provider in a nationwide survey of retirement plan advisors, exceeding the industry norm with its percentage of "excellent" ratings in 46 of the 48 drivers measured--the highest of any provider reviewed. The survey segmented drivers of satisfaction into seven overall attributes, with Transamerica setting the high-mark for the number of its percentage of "excellent" ratings above the industry norm within each attribute. These overall attributes include:

* Pricing/Cost/Compensation

* Product Features

* Sales and Marketing Support

* Service and Support

* Provider Image

Among the 46 drivers, Transamerica received some of its highest satisfaction ratings in the following categories:

* Quality of invest monitor, due diligence Research; analysis; your homework. This term has caught on in all industries, because it sounds so "wired." Who would want to do analysis or research when they can do due diligence. See wired.  

* Willing to participate in sales presentations and events

* Partners with you for success

* Enrollment support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  

* Making it easy to do business with them

* Making fees transparent and easy to explain/ show to sponsor

* Pricing flexibility to allow you to maximize cost to plan sponsors

* Quality of the provider relationship managers

* Commitment to the 401(k) market

 2008 Retirement Advisor Study" is a nationwide study of 643 retirement advisors. Advisors provided satisfaction and loyalty ratings for their top three providers.
