TrainingPro Mortgage Education Approved in Maine.


HUNT VALLEY, Md. -- TrainingPro, the national leader in mortgage education, recently announced it is now an approved education provider in the state of Maine. TrainingPro will provide initial and continuing education for mortgage professionals conducting business in the state of Maine. Both courses satisfy the new education requirement that went into effect on February 10, 2007. The Maine Office of Consumer Credit Regulations set the education requirements.

* Individuals seeking licensure as a loan officer after January 31, 2008 must complete 16 hours of approved initial education. These individuals must also complete an additional 12 hours of approved continuing education during each following year.

* Individuals already licensed as a loan officer prior to January 31, 2008, must complete 12 hours of continuing education each year, beginning with 2007. The 12-hour course must be completed prior to January 31, 2008.
