Since 2003, the John Dystel Nursing Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis has provided advanced training in MS care to two nurses every year. This year, the Fellowship is expanding with a new pilot program for nurses who work in Veteran Administration facilities. All in all, 2006 will see a dozen MDs and nurses engaged in long-term clinical fellowships in MS care. Short, but long on reach To spread the word to even more medical professionals, six short-term intensive training programs will educate up to forty physicians and nurses in MS care over the coming year. |
