Train wreck: Deriding the Rails. (Citings).

IN NOVEMBER, THE Amtrak Amtrak, the National Railroad Passenger Corp., authorized to operate virtually all intercity passenger railroad routes in the United States. , Bombardier Inc., the builder of Amtrak's high-speed Acela trains, has sued the railway for $200 million. Bombardier accuses Amtrak of failing to describe accurately the poor quality of its track and failing to complete a new electric traction system between New Haven New Haven, city (1990 pop. 130,474), New Haven co., S Conn., a port of entry where the Quinnipiac and other small rivers enter Long Island Sound; inc. 1784.
