Traffic Exhibition of AGCC Traffic Week Opens.

A'Seeb, March 11 (ONA) --- Deliberations of the Traffic Exhibition of the AGCC 28th Traffic Week was opened at City Centre in A'Seeb today under the auspices of Ali bin Khalfan al-Jabri, Undersecretary of the Information Ministry in the presence of the Wali of A'Seeb, a number of state officials and heads of the sisterly countries delegations. Al-Jabri inspected the awareness displayed items in the exhibition in which Royal Oman Police and other governmental and local departments are taking part. The chief guest said that this is an important occasion which highlight the sincere efforts being exerted by ROP (1) (Raster Operation) An instruction that manipulates the bits of a bitmapped image in some manner.

(2) (RISC Operation) An instruction in a RISC processor.
 by raising the awareness and identifying the risks at roads, pointing out to the responsibility of all members of the society in avoiding the traffic accidents as it is not only the responsibility of the policemen. He added that this exhibition reflects the connectivity among all governmental and local activities, pointing out that the traffic awareness is an ongoing process between the media means and the police as the police have a media of it that plays a great role in the awareness process in coordination with other media means. Mini exhibitions will be held at other trade centres in Muscat Muscat, Maskat, or Masqat (all: mŭs`kăt, mŭs`kət), city (1993 pop. 533,774), capital of Oman, SE Arabia, on the Gulf of Oman.
