Seventy-nine percent of hoteliers believe that wireless will become the solution in the next three to five years. However, while 63 percent of hoteliers perceive wireless to be cheaper than wired, guests are far more likely to experience a slow or inconsistent connection using wireless. Fifty percent of frequent or occasional travelers would be willing to pay more for enhancements (e.g., more bandwidth, better security, greater coverage) to their high-speed experiences.
