Track Data Announces Release of Version 3.4 of myTrack, Its Internet-based Investment Service.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--December 17, 1998--Track Data Corporation announced today the release of Version 3.4 of its myTrack service, a free Internet-based personal investment tool that was launched on May 14, 1998. Version 3.4 includes many new fee-based features, including dynamic time and sales and AIQ charting with 10 year history. Further, e-mail alerts have been added to the previously available monitor alerts for users not at their screens. Version 3.4 is now available to users at www.mytrack.com.

Streaming technology helps set myTrack apart from other online investment services. Instead of static Web pages that post delayed quote information (which users must refresh each time they want to see more recent information), myTrack delivers delayed, yet continually updated quotes. For no charge, users also receive breaking company news, a trade-by-trade log, charting for technical analysis and a proprietary library of intraday market statistics. For $19.98 per month plus exchange fees, users can subscribe to real-time quotes. A menu of features, including Nasdaq Level II, are available separately or in value packages.

To access both free and paid services, users should download the myTrack software from www.mytrack.com.

Track Data (Nasdaq-NMS: TRAC) provides real-time financial market data, fundamental research, charting, and analytical services to institutional and individual investors through dedicated telecommunication lines and the Internet. It also disseminates news and third party database information from more than 100 sources worldwide. The Company's main products include MarkeTrack, MarkeTrack98, Track OnLine, Dial/Data, NewsWatch, NewsWeb, myTrack and ProTrack. Track Data's AIQ Systems division offers expert systems software, including artificial intelligence products for market timing and stock selection.
