 Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announced today that Toyota Kirloskar Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited is joint venture automotive manufacturer in India selling Toyota brand of cars.

) plans to open a technical training school for middle-school graduates in Bangalore, India. The school - called the Toyota Technical Training Institute (TTTI TTTI Technical Teachers' Training Institute ) - will be established in August to give Indian youths who have the capacity but face difficulty in continuing onto high school because of economic or other reasons a chance to learn specialized manufacturing skills.

TTTI instruction will center on four technical-skill courses: Painting, welding, automobile assembly and mechatronics (MECHAnics elecTRONICS) The combination of mechanical and electronic systems. Embracing robotics, industrial control systems and human interfaces in numerous disciplines, mechatronics is a major step beyond "electromechanical," in which only electricity is required. . The three-year curriculum will include academic classes on engineering and practical training at TKM. All students will live in a dormitory, be exempt from paying entrance fees and tuition and be offered employment by TKM upon graduation.

TTTI, which is expected to play an active role in the development of the human resources that will be at the core of Toyota production operations in India in the future, plans to start accepting applications from early April from middle-school graduates, mainly from Karnataka State.
