) announced today that it would display 23 concept and production vehicles at the 3rd China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition (also known as the Auto Guangzhou 2005), to be held at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 22 to 28. The announcement came today during a Toyota press briefing at the show site, where the company also announced a new name for the Chinese-market Camry to be made in China from next year.

The Auto Guangzhou 2005 motor show will be held under the theme: "Fancy Mobility", and the new i-swing personal mobility vehicle - showing for the first time outside Japan following its exhibition at the Tokyo Motor Show The Tokyo Motor Show (東京モーターショー) is a biennial auto show held in October-November at the Makuhari Messe, Chiba City, Japan for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles.  in October, will aptly highlight Toyota's display, along with the Lexus IS series - showing for the first time in China. Also planned for exhibition is the Prius hybrid passenger vehicle, which will go into production in Changchun City by the end of this year, the Crown and Reiz, which went into production this year, and other locally produced Toyota-brand vehicles, such as the Corolla corolla: see petal. , Vios, Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado and Terios. Other Lexus-brand vehicles, such as the SC430, which was launched in China in October, will also be displayed.

Toyota will also show the F1 racecar model that finished second in Round Two of the 2005 F1 championship- fulfilling Toyota's fourth-year goal of gaining a spot on the winner's podium - and allowed the team to finish fourth in the 2005 F1 Constructors' Championship.

The current Chinese-market Camry (made in Japan), which will also be shown at the show, is currently known as the "Jiamei". When China-production of the Camry begins in mid-2006 at Guangzhou Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. (GTMC GTMC Government Technology Managers Conference ), the model will be named the "Kaimeirui", giving it a pronunciation more similar to "Camry". GTMC will conduct sales of the Kaimeirui through its own network.
