Equipment World has developed a strong network of service, parts, and product knowledge. Recently, they have introduced Toyota tow tractors to their product line. "Toyota specializes as innovators in safety and ergonomic design," says Knudsen. "It's a company that has always been a leader, advancing ahead of other manufacturers."

As a Toyota dealer, Equipment World has repeatedly received numerous prestigious awards, including the Quality Dealer Award for Outstanding Achievement, as well as awards for 10, 20, and then 25 years outstanding service, as a Toyota dealer.

"In 1987, 1991, 1992, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999 and 2000 we received Toyota's Market Share Award for attaining highest market share of forklift sales in Canada," Knudsen says. "In 2000, we achieved a record 77.5 per cent market share of all forklifts sold in our territory. To date in 2003, we command nearly 60 per cent of the sales market share in our territory."

As well, the Gold Award was presented to Equipment World, recognizing the top salespeople from across Canada Across Canada was an afternoon program that formerly aired on The Weather Network. Now, celebrating its 30th anniversary, Equipment World and Toyota have continued their successful partnership, and look forward to "a world of success," Knudsen says.
