Town enters record book for having the biggest heart.


The town of Lovettsville spread its love and giant heart to the Guinness Book of World Records, raising money for a new park in the process. Kate n. 1. (Zool.) The brambling finch.  Griffith Griffith, town (1990 pop. 17,916), Lake co., extreme NW Ind.; inc. 1904. It is primarily a residential town in the Chicago metropolitan area. Manufactures include metal products, chemicals, and electronic equipment. , chairman of the Lovettsville Community Center Advisory Board wanted to raise funds for a new park, and decided to try something drastic--set a world record for the biggest heart.

Because no one had ever attempted it, the town's first try was successful, forming a giant heart with 156 people and two dogs. The heart was about 12 feet across. Raising about $2,000, the town plans to make this an annual event. The money will go to creating a new recreational area in Loudoun

Loudoun (Lughdan in Scottish Gaelic) is an area of East Ayrshire, Scotland, east of Kilmarnock. The word Loudoun is derivative of the Celtic Pagan God name Lugh.
