Tower Technology Receives U.S. DoD 5015.2 Certification; Tower IDM Repository Meets Government Standards for Records Management Applications.

Tower Technology announced today that its award-winning Tower IDM Repository has been certified against the U.S. Department of Defense DoD 5015.2 standard for Records Management Application Software, as the scalable archive in a records management solution. The DoD 5015.2 sets the standard for government electronic record keeping.

The Tower IDM Repository received official DoD 5015.2 Electronic Records Management certification from the Defense Information Services Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) through a certification request submitted by Tower Software, Reston, VA.

The total solution, which was anchored by Tower IDM, consisted of a variety of standard operating systems, data bases, office and e-mail systems and featured Tower Software's TRIM Captura(TM) 4.3. TRIM Captura is an electronic record keeping system designed to provide a complete and seamless records management solution for physical and electronic documents.
