The 23rd annual plant sale at Tower Hill Botanic Garden The Tower Hill Botanic Garden, in Boylston, Massachusetts, USA, is a 132 acre (534,000 m²) botanical garden with spectacular views of Mount Wachusett and the Wachusett Reservoir. features an amazing selection of perennials, herbs, everlastings, shrubs, trees, native plants, houseplants, annuals, vegetables and easy-to-grow plants for children (and the brown thumbs among us). If you can't decide among all those offerings, knowledgeable staffers will be on hand to help. Auction items include a private tour of Channel 7 news anchor Randy Price's garden in Maine; a garden consultation from Tower Hill executive director John Trexler; and a large dogwood dogwood or cornel (kôr`nəl), shrub or tree of the genus Cornus, chiefly of north temperate and tropical mountain regions, characteristically having an inconspicuous flower surrounded by large, showy bracts which tree with planting included. The tree is a variety called "Endurance" because the flowers last a long time.
