Tournament to support American servicemen.


The Intrepid Foundation and Cushman & Wakefield have joined forces to create the Fallen Heroes Fund Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting the families of United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  Military personnel who gave their lives in defense of their nation.

The tournament will be held on Monday, October 27 at the Hamilton Hamilton, city, Bermuda

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund was established in 2000 by the Intrepid Foundation to provide private financial support for the dependents of U.S. military personnel lost in the performance of their duty. . In this spirit, the foundation and C&W urge their fellow corporate and individual citizens to support the families of those Fallen Heroes who have preserved and strengthened freedom for every American.

"We saw an opportunity to help more families through a golf tournament with multiple corporate sponsors, as well as individual contributions," said Bill White, president of the Intrepid Foundation, which administers the Fallen Heroes Fund.

"We're off to a great start with top level corporate sponsorships toward our goal of raising more than $250,000, but we still have sponsorships available and expect to see them filled quickly."

Sponsorships are available for the tournament dinner ($25,000); co-chairing the event ($20,000); lunch ($15,000); foursomes A Foursomes match is a type of golf match.It takes place between two teams of two golfers. The golfers on the same team take alternate shots throughout the match, with the same ball. Each hole is won by the team that completes the hole in the fewest shots.  and hole sponsor ($10.000 each); longest drive and closest-to-pin ($10,000 each); breakfast and beverage cart ($5,000 each); and individual golfer ($2,500).
