Toshiba Re-Launches Satellite Pro Notebook Series for Mobile Business Users.


New Satellite Pro Series Debut as Essential Business Notebooks Starting at $699(1)

IRVINE, Calif. -- Toshiba's Digital Products Division, a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the Satellite Pro([R] )A200 and Satellite Pro( )A210 notebook series -- a new line of affordable business-essential notebooks for mobile professionals.

The Satellite Pro A210 series features AMD's Better by Design initiative that provides powerful notebook computing solutions and brings together superior components and technologies at an affordable price. The Satellite Pro A210 series features AMD Turion A version of the Athlon 64 CPU from AMD designed for thin, lightweight laptops. The Turion 64 CPUs dissipate as little as 25 watts compared to 65 for the Athlon. Introduced in 2005, Turion enhanced AMD's line of mobile CPUs, which included the Mobile Athlon 64 for full-sized laptops and ([TM]) 64 X2 or AMD Athlon dual core processors, both of which include the AMD M690V chipset and Atheros 802.11b/g wireless4 capabilities.
