Toshiba Adds a New IP Telephone Model Delivering Analog CO Line Interface for Local Dialing Including Emergency Calls

 TSD TSD Tay-Sachs disease. ) today announced its new Toshiba IPT IPT - IP Telephony 2010-SDC IP Desk Telephone, which includes an Analog CO line interface for local dialing, including emergency calls. It is compatible with Toshiba's Strata[R] CIX (Commercial Internet Exchange Association, Herndon, VA, www.cix.org) Pronounced "kicks," it was a membership organization that promoted the development of a level playing field for ISPs. Toshiba's new Strata IPT2010-SDC delivers all the features and functionality of Toshiba's digital telephones in an IP format, including:

* 10 programmable feature buttons that enable users to customize the telephone's use to meet their own unique needs.

* A two-line by 24-character LCD for at-a-glance information such as Caller ID A telephone company service that sends the caller's telephone number between the first and second ring of the call. If the calling number is not blocked, the calling number is displayed on the handset or base station of the called party.  and feature prompting.

* Full-duplex speakerphone.

* Analog CO line interface for local dialing and emergency calls.

* Handset/headset choice, off-hook dialing, hands-free use (not supported in analog CO mode), and ring tones (different for IP and analog lines).

* Power provided via Power over Ethernet Power over Ethernet or PoE technology describes a system to transmit electrical power, along with data, to remote devices over standard twisted-pair cable in an Ethernet network.  (PoE) or local AC Adapter Same as power adapter. .

* Compatibility with Toshiba's entire family of Strata CIX IP business telephone systems, including CIX670, CIX200, CIX100, CIX40.

* Compatibility with Toshiba's older Strata CTX CTX Context (Management; Tandem)
