Toshiba Announces Platinum Sponsorship of Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography; Founding Support Provided to Aid Establishment of Organization Devoted Exclusively to Cardiovascular CT.


TUSTIN, Calif. -- A leader in advanced imaging technology, Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. (TAMS) today announced its platinum sponsorship of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Computed tomography (CT scan)

The SCCT plans to utilize Toshiba's contribution to fund activities related to the first-ever annual meeting of the SCCT and other educational activities surrounding the use of CT in cardiology. "Toshiba is proud to support the efforts of SCCT," said Robb Young, senior manager, Cardiology CT, TAMS. "It is our goal to partner with organizations that promote education that will expand the field of cardiovascular CT."
