Strengthens Torrent's Senior Management Team and Leads Sales Force

Torrent(R) Systems, Inc, a leading provider of software for scalable data warehousing and business intelligence, is pleased to announce that Roger Hodskins has joined the company as vice president of worldwide sales.

Hodskins has more than 21 years of sales and marketing management experience and a solid track record of building strategic sales programs and increasing revenue and shareholder value. In his role, Hodskins is responsible for driving Torrent's growth in revenue by expanding the company's sales force worldwide, directing its field engineering and sales team operations, and contributing to the expansion of the company's strategic partner relationships. Dan DeLaney, responsible for Torrent's North American sales, and Steve Rigo, responsible for Field Engineering and Consulting Services, will report to Hodskins.

Hodskins has held senior management positions in a number of capacities. Most recently he served as senior vice president of corporate development and strategy at NetMorf, Inc. in Boston, Mass. Previously, he spent two years as vice president of worldwide sales, support and services at NetGenesis, Inc. where he grew sales eight fold in 18 months and more than quadrupled the worldwide customer installed base. Prior to NetGenesis, Hodskins held senior management and director-level positions at companies including Rational Software, SQA, Inc. and Wang Laboratories.
