President's "E" Award The President's "E" Award is an award presented by the United States Department of Commerce to "to persons, firms, and organizations engaged in the marketing of products who make significant contributions to the expansion of the export trade of the United States". for its export program. A committee
of public and private sector members reviewed 20 nominations for the
award and selected Torani as one of two recipients.
The President's "E" Award was created by Executive
Order of President Kennedy on December 5, 1961, to afford suitable
recognition to persons, firms or organizations that contribute
significantly in the effort to increase U.S. exports. "We are
delighted to be recognized for this award," said Paul Lucheta,
Principal and head of international market development. "Our sales,
marketing, and operations teams have worked hard to expand and grow our
