Toppan Photomasks Names David Murray as President and CEO; Executive Appointments Designed to Leverage Unique Global and Technology Leadership Positions.


ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Toppan Photomasks, Inc. announced today that company veteran David S. Murray Murray, river, Australia

Murray, 47, most recently served as executive vice president of worldwide operations. He has held a series of executive-level roles, including operations, engineering, quality, supply-chain management, materials and asset management throughout his nearly 20 years with the company.

In addition, Toppan Photomasks has named Katsuhiro Kinemura, executive vice president of worldwide operations to fill Murray's vacant position. Michael G. Hadsell, currently vice president and general manager of the Asia-Pacific region, will be promoted to the newly created position of executive vice president of worldwide sales.

Kinemura, 51, currently a senior general manager at Toppan Printing, comes to his new position with 16 years of experience with Toppan's photomask businesses, including four years as president of Toppan Chungwa Electronics, a photomask joint venture company in Taiwan. Throughout his 28-year career with Toppan, he has held executive-level jobs in engineering, research and development and operations in micro-electronics businesses.

Hadsell, 45, will have responsibility for all of Toppan Photomasks' sales efforts around the world. He has nearly 20-years experience with DuPont Photomasks and Toppan Photomasks, and also has spent the last seven years in operations and sales assignments in Asia Pacific.
