 "Your PHP", is hosted on SilverPlatter's T1 and servers so it provides fast service without tapping into any local resources. It requires little to no maintenance by institutional customers.

The basic version of "Your PHP" provides users with access to the most important medical databases and a series of online publications driven by an editorial board of well-known physicians from throughout the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area. . Web site developers and administrators may offer their communities the entire PHP as it exists online, may choose subsets of the databases and publications available, and may add selections from SilverPlatter's catalog of over 300 databases. Links to locally held resources may also be included.

PHP itself can be previewed by pointing any web browser The program that serves as your front end to the Web on the Internet. Among the databases offered through PHP is the National Library of Medicine's MEDLINE The online medical database of the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) whose parent is the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD. MEDLINE contains millions of articles from thousands of medical journals and publications. The consumer section of the site (http://medlineplus.  which provides 8.5 million records published in nearly 4,000 journals covering medical research since 1966. PHP's version, which is updated weekly, provides a document delivery function, links to journal home pages, and a fully integrated and hyperlinked MeSH thesaurus. Together, all of the content on PHP takes up nearly 27 gigabytes of hard disk space.

In addition to the medical databases, PHP offers many online publications. MD Digests, one such publication, provides physicians with a quick glance of the current week's literature. It also provides links to related web sites and pre-authored database searches created by a librarian to provide relevancy.
