The list, which appeared in the February 1, 2004 issue of the well-respected real estate trade publication, examines activity during the 12-month period between October 2002 and September 2003. Meridian closed $7.5 billion in loans during that time.

Founded in 1991, Meridian is a leading mortgage broker servicing the commercial and multi-family real estate sectors nationwide.

Since 2000, the Manhattan-based organization has closed more than $15 billion in loans ranging in size from $500,000 to $500 million for multi-family, office, retail, industrial and hotel properties.

The company reported record activity in 2003, brokering more than 1,500 transactions totaling $9.1 billion.
