Top butcher's meat is pork of the town.
The local business was triumphant in the BPEX Foodservice Pork Product of the Year competition 2012, which recognises and rewards quality pork products and dishes that can be found on menus in pubs, restaurants, schools and hotels.
The Coventry-based catering butcher picked up a gold award for the 'Pork Leg Fillet', which was also selected by judges as winner of the Fresh Pork Cut category. They also collected one further gold and five silver awards for other categories.
The top products - first, second and third place in each category - were showcased at a special awards luncheon at Butchers Hall in London. Aubrey Allen sales manager, Simon Smith, said: "It means a lot to us - our staff and our customers - to keep doing well in competitions.
"We are incredibly proud of our supply chain, so much so that we take customers to the farm to see the pigs for themselves. There they can understand the dedication and expertise that goes into producing top quality pork and realise what makes our products stand out."
