A group of top musicians will hold a concert benefit for striking and locked out grocery workers. All proceeds will go to the strike fund to help workers buy holiday presents for their families and to help workers with other needs.

The event will include performances by The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello), Brad Wilk of Audioslave, Serj Tankian of System of a Down, Corey Taylor of Slipknot (web) SlipKnot - A graphical World-Wide Web browser specifically designed for Microsoft Windows users who have Unix shell accounts with their service providers. Its primary feature is that it does not require SLIP or PPP or TCP/IP services.  and Stone Sour, Phantom Planet, Lester Chambers of the Chambers Brothers, and Boots Riley of The Coup.

The music of these artists will be matched by the words of striking and locked-out grocery workers who will speak about their struggle.

Companies are trying to roll back workers healthcare coverage despite the fact that operating profits have gone up 91% since 1998 and profits have increased 10 times faster than healthcare costs. This has led to the largest strike in California in 50 years. 70,000 workers out on strike taking a stand against corporate greed. The show aims to provide financial support for the strikers and spread awareness about the issues involved.
