Top Insurance Web Rankings Announced for First Quarter.

DALBAR, Inc. has announced the top insurance Web sites for financial professionals and consumers for the first quarter, 2000. American American, river, 30 mi (48 km) long, rising in N central Calif. in the Sierra Nevada and flowing SW into the Sacramento River at Sacramento. The discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill (see Sutter, John Augustus) along the river in 1848 led to the California gold rush of  Skandia, John Hancock and Nationwide top the professional Web sites and Prudential Prudential is the name of two different companies and buildings named after them:

Each quarter DALBAR, Inc. selects the top 25 insurance Web sites. Sites are selected in two categories: financial professionals and consumers. These are monitored and compared on a daily basis to determine what features have changed as well as the richness, depth and currency of content.

Results show that insurance companies have been more successful in meeting the needs of consumers than the professionals. The toped ranked firm for consumers, Prudential (84), scores well above the top firm for professionals, American Skandia (78). Additionally, only three companies scored over 70 (on a scale of 100) for professionals compared to ten in the consumer category.

DALBAR, Inc. also monitors Web sites of mutual funds, brokerage BROKERAGE, contracts. The trade or occupation of a broker; the commissions paid to a broker for his services.  and 401(k) providers.
