Top Cinematographer, Philipp Timme, Joins Internet Film ``Radius'' to Bring Internet Film Visuals to `The Next Level'.Entertainment Editors LOS ANGELES--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--April 19, 2000 Internet film took another leap forward today when Philipp Timme, a top visual effects cinematographer, signed on to shoot K2 Films' sci-fi actioner "Radius." Timme captured the White House exploding in "Independence Day," the volcanic devastation of an entire town in "Dante's Peak," and the destruction of the Mir space station in "Armageddon." He will film "Radius'" live action and special effects special effects, in motion pictures, cinematographic techniques that create illusions in the audience's minds as well as the illusions created using these techniques. sequences in 35 mm, for digital broadcast over the internet in mid-Summer. "I want to take internet film to the next level visually," says Timme. "Most net films are small in their cinematic scope, due to modest budgets and lack of experience from first-time filmmakers. As Director of Photography, my goal is to make `Radius' feel as visually stunning as any big budget Hollywood production."
