Tooling U adds CNC controls.

Tooling University, the on-demand web-based industrial and educational training people, has added online industrial training programs for CNC controls. The classes include control-specific training for Haas Automation's CNC with CNC courses for other major equipment CNCs to follow. Essential functions such as powering up and down, homing axes, manually jogging the machine, entering tool offsets, locating program zero, loading and deleting program, and interpreting G code are included.

The expansion takes Tooling U's CNC training to a deeper level of information on controls. Tooling U has also expanded its ability to track apprenticeship and other hands-on and instructor-led training program with the launch of the Career and Apprenticeship Learning Management System (CALMS).
