Forming volume published

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers announced the publication of Volume II, Forming, of the five-volume, fourth edition of the Tool and Manufacturing Engineers Handbook (TMEH). The Forming volume offers in-depth discussions of more than 50 different forming processes such as blanking, spinning, shearing, punching, extruding, swaging, forging, casting, and powder metallurgy. Subjects of the 20 chapters include formability, die and mold materials, lubricants, presses, die design, and safety. The volume has 955 pages and costs $89, or $79 for SME members.
