Too much Chomsky.


When I read The Progressive, I am expecting original, thought-provoking Adj. 1. thought-provoking - stimulating interest or thought; "a challenging hypothesis"; "a thought-provoking book"
challenging

stimulating - rousing or quickening activity or the senses; "a stimulating discussion"

 material. I especially look forward to the interview, and this month I was very disappointed in your choice of Noam Chomsky Noun 1. Noam Chomsky - United States linguist whose theory of generative grammar redefined the field of linguistics (born 1928)

 as your interviewee (Interview by David Barsamian David Barsamian is an American radio broadcaster and writer of Armenian descent. He is the founder and director of Alternative Radio, the Boulder, Colorado-based syndicated weekly talk program heard on some 125 radio stations in various countries. , May issue). It is not worth my $12 a year to see interviews with him when dozens of them are available for free online. I love his work, and his critique of U.S. foreign policy is right on target, but it isn't necessary for his name to appear in every leftwing publication.
