Here's Act II of "The Sopranos" litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right. The act or process of bringing a lawsuit in and of itself; a judicial contest; any dispute.

When a person begins a civil lawsuit, the person enters into a process called litigation.

 earlier this year over contract negotiations, has been sued for $10 million by Writers and Artists Agency Inc.

The firm claims that Brownstein defrauded it out of commission revenues and breached his fiduciary duty as a talent agent and partner.

In a suit filed June 17 in Los Angeles Superior Court, WAA (Wide Area Adapter) Any of a variety of ports or adapters that connect to a wide area network (WAN), including RS-232, RS-422 and V.35.  claims that Brownstein resigned May 21, 2002, but induced clients, including Gandolfini, to write checks direcfly to him, rather than WAA.

Brownstein refutes all of WAA's claims, said his lawyer Gerry Fox, partner at Fox & Spillane LLP.

Fox said Brownstein; who is still a partner at WAA, filed suit in May under the firm's arbitration agreement. He says he is owed $500,000 in lost compensation, including payment from the deal he renegotiated for Gandolfini. Further, Fox said, Brownstein claims the other three shareholders violated their agreement to arbitrate when they sued.
