Tombstone Explorations - High Grade Results at Valle Hondo.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 1996--Tombstone Exploratio (TSE TSO.) During the last three weeks, drilling at Apanao Zone, Valle Hondo Project has concentrated on the gold zone intersected in Drill Hole VH96-33 (reported October 22, 1996). VH96- 33 was collared 100 metres NE of the previously drilled area in Block #1. This mineralization represents a new high grade zone predominantly contained in the hard rock portion of the gold mineralized intrusive body.

To date assays have been received from four additional holes on this zone. Holes VH96-34 and VH96-41 were drilled on the same section as VH96-33 and holes VH96-42 and VH96-43 represent a 100 metre step out on strike to the NE. Significant intercepts from these holes are as follows: -0-

This high grade zone continues to be open along strike in both directions and at depth. A second drill was mobilized to the Project at the beginning of November, and both drills are currently working on the zone. Holes VH96-35 to VH96-40 were drilled in other areas of the Apanao Zone and will be reported on separately. The potential for other higher grade areas in the hardrock component of the Apanao Zone at Valle Hondo is considered excellent; greatly enhancing the multi-million ounce scope of the project.

EXPLORATION BEGINS ON ZULO PROJECT - On the 100 percent owned Zulo Project, located immediately to the north of Valle Hondo, mechanical trenching has commenced on the Loma Alta Zone. Samples from at least two kilometres of trenching are expected to be received before Christmas. Although at an early stage, the Loma Alta Zone represents a mineralized system equal in size, strength, and origin to the Apanao Zone at Valle Hondo.
