Tom Shjerven Selected as 2007 President for International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists.


NORFOLK, Va. -- ValueOptions announced that Tom Shjerven, its Vice President of Commercial Sales, has been appointed to serve as President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists (ISCEBS ISCEBS International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists ) for 2007. While at ValueOptions, Shjerven has worked closely with employee assistance benefits, Work/Life programs, and related behavioral health services.

Shjerven regularly speaks at industry events on issues relating to human resources and benefits. He has worked in the employee benefits profession for over 17 years and earned his bachelor of arts degree in public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment.
