Tom Hudson.The Four Corners Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), founded October 14, 1911, is the oldest and largest professional safety organization. Its more than 31,000 members manage, supervise and consult on Occupational safety and health and environmental issues in industry, insurance, has honored Tom Hudson, coordinator and instructor of safety at the San Juan College San Juan College was founded in 1956 as the Farmington Branch of the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanical Arts. In 1958, the name was changed from Farmington Branch to San Juan Branch, NMSU. This name better indicated the area served by the branch. School of Energy, in Farmington, N:M., as the safety professional of the year. Called the "SPY" award, the honor recognizes Hudson's dedication and efforts in providing safety education to individuals and employers throughout the community through the college's school of energy.
