Tom Hall joins Monsanto as an Area Agronomy agronomy (əgrŏn`əmē), branch of agriculture dealing with various physical and biological factors—including soil management, tillage, crop rotation, breeding, weed control, and climate—related to crop production. Agronomy commonly refers to field crops, e.g. Mgr in Kansas, eastern Colorado and northern Texas. He most recently was Stewardship and Security Leader for CropLife America. He has also been with VantagePoint, Doane and the American Society of Agronomy where he helped found the Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) program.
