:UPS) expects to deliver more than 20 million packages today - its busiest shipping day of the year - when deliveries accelerate to 230 packages per second.

--Three five-minute loops of live-to-tape footage of this afternoon's volume speeding through UPS Worldport, the world's most technologically advanced package sorting facility located in Louisville, Ky. Visuals include:

--3,000 packages per minute being sorted through 122 miles of high-speed conveyor belts conveyor belt

One of various devices that provide mechanized movement of material, as in a factory. Conveyor belts are used in industrial applications and also on large farms, in warehousing and freight-handling, and in movement of raw materials.

--Aircraft loading holiday packages and retailer re-supplies - 10 million packages will be loaded on more than 600 planes on UPS's Peak Day.

--Seasonal hires unloading packages from trucks and sorting packages into air cans.

--UPS overhead scanning technology aiding the automated sorting of packages.

UPS expects to deliver around 20 million packages by the end of today. The flurry of packages represents a sliver sliver

in wool processing a continuous band of carded and combed wool which has not yet been twisted into yarn.
 of the 340 million packages UPS will safely speed to their destinations by Christmas Eve.
