I've actually been here since March in a part-time role, but now I'm official. It's nice to make the leap. As NEHA's marketing project specialist, my role is fairly varied, which definitely can make for some interesting days. I support NEHA's Annual Educational Conference & Exhibition by working with exhibitors and creating collateral and graphics. I also assist with various outreach activities, work that includes helping prepare for trade shows and managing mailing lists An automated e-mail system on the Internet, which is maintained by subject matter. There are thousands of such lists that reach millions of individuals and businesses. New users generally subscribe by sending an e-mail with the word "subscribe" in it and subsequently receive all new . From there, I came to Colorado and started down the path of marketing. Along the way, I endured a few stints in the topsy-turvy world of telecom. After more than a few years in the corporate world, it's a nice change of pace to be in an association such as NEHA. Being able to support an organization that cares about more than just the bottom line is truly refreshing and definitely more in line with my personal values. I love the fact that NEHA is based in Denver.
