 to discuss common global policy issues faced by the industry in the areas of environmental, health and safety, and achieved a consensus on two major issues and a method of addressing those issues. The companies agreed to address the prioritized industry policy issues of tire materials and tire wear particles. They will initiate independent research on these issues by establishing two project teams reporting to the CEOs. Participating companies include Bridgestone, Continental AG, Cooper Tire & Rubber, Goodyear Tire & Rubber, Hankook Tire, Kumho Tire, Group Michelin, Pirelli, Sumitomo Rubber Industries Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (住友ゴム工業株式会社  , Toyo Tire & Rubber and Yokohama Rubber.
