Tips for Choosing A Limousine Service

When you want the best in transportation, you look to a limousine service to provide comfortable, reliable, professional transport to wherever it is you need to go. But how can you be sure that you''re getting someone who you can count on? With a seemingly infinite amount of limo services to choose from in every city, you want to make sure you''re choosing a service that you can reliably say is ''The Best''. So what can you do to be sure? First, make a list of all the companies you want to call, and then jot down the questions you need to ask:

1) Are your drivers certified, and are your limousines insured?

This is important legal information! Insurance will help to protect you and the limo service in the case of unfortunate or unforeseen circumstances. You also want to be sure that you are hiring a service where all the drivers are officially certified to drive these special vehicles.

2) What are your rates? Are there gratuities? Hidden fees?

Many people hire limousines at what they think is an excellent rate, only to find out when they get the bill that there are hundreds of dollars worth of hidden fees stacked on top of what seemed like a great price at the time. Also, you want to know whether you should tip the driver separately from the bill. Be blunt, and ask exactly what you''d see at the bottom of your bill if you rented for ''X'' number of hours. Move on if they won''t tell you.

3) Do you use contracts?

If you get a no, move on! Contracts are signed deals between you and the limousine service, and will guarantee that you''ve hired them for a certain car, pick-up/drop-off time, price, cancellation fee, and so on. You are not protected if you don''t have a contract!

4) Can I see the car?

You want to choose a service that is ready and willing to have you come down to the lot and check out their vehicles. If you arrive and see dirty or dented cars ? even if the attendant claims they''ve ''just arrived'', move on! The company clearly doesn''t care about presentation, which is exactly what you''re hiring them for! Cars should be in immaculate condition, ready to roll off the lot when needed.

Once you''ve received satisfactory answers to all your questions, and you''ve found a limousine service that seems grateful to get your business and eager to ensure your needs are met ? it''s time to go ahead and book your limo!
