All individual TIPs or Test Methods are available for electronic or paper delivery.

For electronic delivery, the documents are e-mailed to you in PDF (Portable Document Format) The de facto standard for document publishing from Adobe. On the Web, there are countless brochures, data sheets, white papers and technical manuals in the PDF format.  format. The Adobe Acrobat Reader The former name of Adobe Reader. See PDF.  is required to view and print these documents. This is available free from www.adobe.com.

If you prefer hardcopy printout (PRINTer OUTput) Same as hard copy. , these can be mailed or faxed to you. Please include the shipping and handling costs in your total.

The new or revised documents listed above may be purchased individually from TAPPI TAPPI Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry . The 2003-2004 collection of TIPs, published in March 2003, is available in a twovolume printed set or on CD. The 2004-2005 collection of Test Methods, published in March 2004, is available on CD. A print-on-demand version of the Test Methods set, current and updated as of the date printed, is also available. Company Licenses for access to the continually updated collection of Test Methods and TIPs via the web is the best way to always have a current set of documents accessible by all company personnel.

Suppliers of reference materials for TAPPI Test Methods are requested to certify their compliance with TAPPI Standard Practice T 1211 "Acceptance Procedures for Calibration Laboratories." This practice, issued in 1996 and revised in 2001, established guidelines for the listing of organizations as calibration laboratories or providers of standardized standardized

pertaining to data that have been submitted to standardization procedures.

 materials for TAPPI Test Methods. Such organizations are involved with the maintenance of master instruments, calibration of test instruments, and the issuance of calibration materials or transfer standards.

The list of reference material suppliers appears in the full set of TAPPI Test Methods (CD or print on demand), on the TAPPI website, or is available upon request from the TAPPI Quality and Standards Department The Standards Department was a department of the English Board of Trade having the custody of the imperial standards of weights and measures. The filing date of July 1, 2005, has been established so that there will be time to review the responses prior to the publication deadline.

Organizations that provide reference materials for TAPPI Test Methods but which are not currently on the Reference Materials list should also submit self-certification forms by July 1, 2005, in order to be included in the next full set listing.
