Like many girls, Nathalie Calderon, 15, is a member of her dance school's senior company. But unlike her peers, Nathalie's right leg was amputated below the knee before her first birthday. Nathalie was born with tibial tibial

 limb presents unique problems. "Going on points is going to be hard for me. I only have one ankle," she explains. When her knee dislocates, as it often does, she chooses to give it a rest. Nathalie's talent and awesome attitude are nabbing attention. In March, Nathalie is performing at the Living Independence For Everyone (lifeofms.com) convention in Mississippi, and a movie producer got in touch with her about turning her inspiring story into a film. Nathalie isn't the only disabled female athlete making headlines.  who has set records in track and field, took over in January as president of the Women's Sports Foundation The Women's Sports Foundation (WSF) "is a charitable educational organization dedicated to ensuring equal access to participation and leadership opportunities for all girls and women in sports and fitness.  (womenssportsfoundation.org). So what does Nathalie think about Aimee's position? "That's really cool," she says. "It would be so cool if it happened to me."
