The firm, headquartered in San Bruno, California, is best known for its controversial drug pricing surveys of the McKesson at AMIA. They offer online e-business support tools and are one of the largest suppliers of healthcare knowledge bases. First Databank supplies drug knowledge to more than 40,000 pharmacies, 4,000 hospitals, all 50 state Medicaid programs, and virtually all major vendor and private drug benefit programs.
