Time for reform.


Regarding "Don't Put on Your Lawsuit," the Comment column of April 30:

The Institute for Legal Reform's release of new rankings on states' legal climates should serve as a wake-up call to all Californians. The time has come for civil justice reform.

Not only did California rank 45th out of the 50 states in terms of its environment for fairness in the justice system, 57 percent of corporate counsel polled said that the litigation An action brought in court to enforce a particular right.
