Time Warner leases in McGraw Hill.


Rockefeller Center Rockefeller Center, complex of buildings in central Manhattan, New York City, between 48th and 51st streets and Fifth Ave. and the Ave. of the Americas (Sixth Ave.). The project was sponsored by John D. Rockefeller, Jr.  announced that TWDE Inc., a subsidiary of Time Warner Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX), formerly known as AOL Time Warner, is the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in New York City, with major operations in film, television, publishing, Internet service and telecommunications.  Inc., has leased 44,000 square feet in the McGraw-hill Building The McGraw-Hill Building' may refer to:
  • 330 West 42nd Street a landmark building in Manhattan, New York City and built in 1930.
  • 1221 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, New York City, built in 1969
 at 1221 Avenue of the Americas. The 15-year lease is for the entire 26th floor. Occupancy is expected by the second quarter of 1993.

The announcement was made by Alan L. Stein, vice president leasing for Rockefeller Center.

\The lease transaction was negotiated on behalf of the landlord, Rockefeller Center, by Alan L. Stein and on behalf of the tenant by Time Warner Director of Real Estate Cheryl L. Swiatkowski and by a brokerage team from Edward S. Gordon Company. That team was comprised of Martin Turchin, Mary Ann Tighe, Carol Nelson and Michael Geoghegan Michael Geoghegan CBE (born 4 October 1953) became the HSBC Group's Chief Executive on 26 March 2006, he joined HSBC in 1973 and has previously lead the group's South American and European operations. .
