Tim Redmond Named FOX 2 Director of Engineering

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Tim Redmond was named Director of Engineering at WJBK FOX 2, it was announced today by Vice President/General Manager James A. Clayton.

"Tim's outstanding technical expertise and experience make him the best candidate for the job," Clayton stated. "He's the person we need to lead and direct FOX 2's operations team as the station establishes itself as the market leader."

Before coming to WJBK, Redmond was director of technical operations at WWJ/CBS 62 for two years. Prior to that, he worked for WDIV where he held the positions of assistant chief engineer, news technical manager, evening maintenance supervisor and maintenance technician. Redmond began his career as a maintenance technician at WLNS-AM-FM/TV in Lansing. He holds an associate degree in science from Lansing Community College, and is a graduate of both the Harris Education and NBC Technical Training Programs.
