Tim Berners-Lee to Deliver Keynote at eCC Bermuda 2001; The Creator of the World Wide Web to Discuss his Vision for the Future of the Internet.

eCC Bermuda Ltd. announced today that Timothy J. Berners-Lee, creator of the World Wide Web will appear as a keynote speaker at this year's eCC Conference, October 3-5, in Hamilton Bermuda, providing the estimated 250 international delegates at the conference with his insight into the future of the World Wide Web, from his unique perspective as its founder and creator.

About Tim Berners-Lee

A graduate of Oxford University, England, Mr. Berners-Lee now holds the 3Com Founders chair at the Laboratory for Computer Science (LCS LCS - Language for Communicating Systems ) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Massachusetts Institute of Technology, at Cambridge; coeducational; chartered 1861, opened 1865 in Boston, moved 1916. It has long been recognized as an outstanding technological institute and its Sloan School of Management has notable programs in business,  (MIT MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology ). He directs the World Wide Web Consortium, an open forum of companies and organizations with the mission to lead the Web to its full potential.
