This year, lots of kids are going to grab a tiger by the tail--or by the tale, because Tiger Woods is coming to their town to talk to them!

The Tiger Woods Foundation sponsors up-close and personal clinics with the Tiger himself, because Tiger wants all kids to have a chance to golf. And now he's taking his message to American families.

"So many kids across the country have been told no, they can't play; they're not good enough to play," said Tiger at a clinic in Indianapolis, Indiana. "I know how it feels; I was one of those kids."

Tiger's 2001 clinics for kids have been announced, and they include special clinic time just for families.

Tiger plans to visit cities every year where he can talk to kids and show them how to find the best within themselves using golf. "Let them make the choice," said Tiger. "It's up to all of us to make golf available to them at whatever age, but it's up to these kids here whether or not they want to play the game; our job is to provide the opportunity."
