Marrakech - The Tifariti commune (southern province of Smara) signed, Sunday in Marrakech, cooperation and twining agreements with several African cities and communes, on the sidelines of the 5th Pan-African Local Government Summit (Africities), held December 16-20. AaAaAa In this regard, twining agreements were signed between the rural commune of Tifariti and the Tanzanian cities of Mwanza, Sumbawanga, Mbeya (south-western Tanzania), Tanga Tanga (täng`gə, –gä), city (1994 est. pop. 190,000), capital of Tanga prov., NE Tanzania, a port on the Indian Ocean. It is a commercial, industrial, and transportation center, connected by rail with the interior of Tanzania. and Arusha (northern Tanzania).
